Real Central NJ Soccer will be hosting the FA of Wales (FAW) coaching course in the summer of 2025. The in-person element of the program will be June 13 to 15 at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ, which will follow several online sessions. The course allows coaches in the US to start their European coaching journey by completing the FAW C-Certificate. Coaches can join the likes of Mikel Arteta and Roberto Martinez by starting their FAW coach education pathway. The course is run with the FAW partnership Coachbetter.
"It is a pleasure to host an FAW coach education course here in Central New Jersey," says RCNJ Men's Sporting Director Ira Jersey. "This initiative provides added value for the coaches of our club and youth affiliate network by providing invaluable knowledge. We are committed to continuous development and excellence in soccer coaching in Central Jersey."
The weekend's activities will include an element of reading the game as students will attend a Real Central NJ first-team match to be played following the first field session on Saturday, June 14
UEFA recognizes the FAW as a leading Nation for coach education. The courses are recognized for creating an environment for coaches where individual personality and philosophy are embraced through the globally recognized Welsh Way Philosophy. That’s why so many high-profile managers and coaches from the Premier League, International games, and all over the globe have hand-picked the FAW as their destination for coach education.
Coaches who successfully complete the FAW C-Certificate are eligible to continue their coach education journey with the FAW through access to higher-level courses.
