Central Jersey’s health care leader commits to multi-year sponsorship supporting aspiring pre-professional players.
(Central Jersey) Real Central NJ Soccer (RCNJ) is excited to announce Capital Health as the Club’s Presenting Sponsor through 2023. Capital Health’s sponsorship deepens their leadership in the community by supporting pre-professional athletes within Central Jersey. As part of the sponsorship, Capital Health will be the exclusive health care partner for RCNJ and the exclusive jersey sponsor for both the women’s and men’s teams.
Real Central NJ Soccer provides a platform for college and aspiring professional players to compete during the summer months while creating an exciting and high-quality game-day environment for area soccer enthusiasts.
The club’s first teams play in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and USL League Two (USL2), which are the most competitive pre-professional leagues in the country. More than half of the 2022 Major League Soccer draft picks played in USL2, while 85 WPSL alumnae were in the 2022 National Women’s Soccer League draft pool.
“Capital Health is pleased to be the Presenting Sponsor for Real Central NJ Soccer,” said Al Maghazehe, president and CEO of Capital Health. “Our community-based approach promotes the value of healthy lifestyles and aligns well with their commitment to providing great development opportunities for area athletes, engaging games for our community, and high-quality programs for younger area soccer players.”
Capital Health’s partnership comes as the soccer club continues to grow in Central New Jersey and Eastern Bucks County in Pennsylvania. In addition to the first teams, the Club fields reserve squads, run local youth clinics, and partner with area non-profits to support their missions through soccer programming.
“Having the region’s premier health care network partner with us provides the foundation for our continued growth and is a real commitment to young-adult athletes across Central Jersey,” said Ben Chrnelich, an RCNJ partner and women’s general manager. “Capital Health’s support will continue to drive a first-class player development environment while providing a fun, exciting, and competitive game-day experience for our passionate soccer fans.
Real Central NJ Soccer's first teams compete from May through July, with home games hosted at Mercer County Community College. Last year, the RCNJ women’s team competed in the WPSL Metropolitan Division Championship game at the NJ/NY Gotham Reserves.
